A large-scale miniature painting about the Qatari folklore in the twentieth century, including fictional and real stories funneled down to us by people who either lived them or heard them from their ancestors. The painting will feature various aspects of the folklore including authentic architecture, garments, stories, and daily activities of the time in general. The painting will also feature womanhood to shed light on the kind of social life women led in the twentieth century.

The twentieth-century Qatari folklore is rich with numerous original manifestations. The painting highlights its unique heritage and emphasizes its valuable artistic properties to keep it alive in the Qatari collective memory and turn it into art, thus bringing it closer to the worldwide audience.
